People, people and more people, plastic food, vending machines, pedestrian crossings and bright city lights. Japan is such a vibrant and interesting place whether you're in the enormous city of Tokyo or in a southern destination such as Kagoshima. Kevin had worked for Toyota UK and visited Toyota city twice before but Japan is such an amazing place with so much to see.
On the one hand Japanese culture is immersed in a rich history and deep traditions dating back thousands of years; on the other Japanese society is one that is in a continual state of rapid change, and is evolving with new trends in fashion, technology that pushes the boundaries of what is possible.
We found the people to be very respectful and focused. There is a sense of conformity and politeness that we rather liked.
Kagoshima & Fukuota
At 11:02 9th Aug 1945 an Atomic bomb was exploded over Nagasaki. We visited the area and the war museum and this was such a sad and moving experience.
