We love Portugal and everything it has to offer. 
Beautiful beaches, some of the most spectacular coastal scenery and custard tarts or pastel de nata to die for. 
We've been during the spring, summer and autumn but actually think it is best in the winter.
Most recently we drove through France, down in to Northern Spain then across in to Eastern Portugal making our way to the West coast just under Lisbon. We would stay for Christmas then continue toward South West Spain.

Portalegre, Monsaraz & Vicentine National Park

The beaches in the Algarve are amazing and we would explored this area for some weeks.
​We would find parking places on the way and, swim, run and cycle whenever possible.

Armacao de Perra

We spent a few weeks across christmas in Armaceo de Perra and joined the swim for charity on New Years day...
